Schnapps (/?n??ps/ or /?n?ps/) is a term for a family of alcoholic beverages that may take several forms, including distilled fruit brandies, herbal liqueurs, infusions, and inexpensive "flavored liqueurs" made by adding fruit syrups, spices, or artificial flavorings to neutral grain spirits. The English word "schnapps" is derived from the German Schnaps [?naps] ( listen) (plural: Schnäpse), a Low German noun meaning "swallow" documented in High German meaning since before the 18th century.

Cr?me de menthe (French for mint cream) is a sweet, mint-flavored alcoholic beverage. Its flavor primarily derives from Corsican mint or dried peppermint. It is available commercially in a colorless version (called "white") and a green version (colored by the mint leaves, or by added coloring if made from extract instead of leaves). Both varieties have similar flavor and are interchangeable in recipes, except where color is important. Cr?me de menthe is an ingredient in several cocktails, such as the Grasshopper and the Stinger. It is also served as a digestif and used in cooking as a flavoring (see Mint chocolate). It is also a primary component of the popular South African shooter known as the Springbokkie. The traditional formula steeps dried peppermint or Corsican mint leaves in grain alcohol for several weeks (creating a naturally green color), followed by filtration and addition of sugar.

Lemonade is the name for a number of sweetened beverages found around the world, all characterized by lemon flavoring. Most lemonade varieties can be separated into two distinct types: cloudy, and clear, each known simply as "lemonade" in countries where dominant. Cloudy lemonade, generally found in North America and India, is a traditionally homemade drink made with lemon juice, water, and sweetened with cane sugar or honey. Found in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, clear lemonade is a lemon, or lemon-lime flavored, carbonated soft drink. A popular variation is pink lemonade, made with added fruit flavors such as raspberry or strawberry among others, giving a distinctive pink color. The "ade" suffix may also be applied to other similar drinks made with different fruits, such as limeade, orangeade, or cherryade. Alcoholic varieties are known as hard lemonade.

Pour the two measures of Schnapps into the cocktail glass. With a cocktail stick stir the liquid whilst adding the two or three dashes of Creme de Menthe. DO NOT mix to hard. Once the Creme de Menthe has started to be added, stop stirring. Finally, gently pour in the lemonade until the glass is topped up. Add maybe a cocktail cherry for decoration.
